Barclay Defence
Barclay Defence, a division of Barclay Engineering, delivers specialised engineering and fabrication solutions tailored to the defence sector, combining robust design, precision manufacturing, and strict compliance with defence standards. Our systems are engineered for performance, reliability, and durability in demanding operational environments.
We provide sovereign capability through local Australian manufacturing, ensuring supply chain certainty, quality control, and alignment with national defence priorities. Our in-house fabrication team is experienced in specialised welding techniques and high-specification materials, supporting complex and mission-critical applications.
Barclay Defence is supported by a defence-ready workforce, with trained and experienced personnel capable of meeting site, security, and operational requirements across defence projects.
Barclay Modular
Barclay Modular, a division of Barclay Engineering, specialises in delivering high-quality modular and prefabricated solutions designed for efficiency, scalability, and rapid deployment. Our capabilities include:

Supported by our fully equipped fabrication facility in Canning Vale, Barclay Modular is purpose-built to handle large-scale modular projects and repeatable production lines. Our workshop layout and flexible manufacturing bays allow us to scale operations efficiently—whether delivering single units or high-volume modular programs to meet demanding project timelines.
We combine precision engineering, controlled workshop fabrication, and streamlined assembly processes to ensure consistent quality and faster delivery. This approach reduces on-site construction time, improves safety, and enables predictable project outcomes.
Barclay Modular is ideally positioned to support projects requiring transportable, high-performance infrastructure, particularly in remote, industrial, and harsh operating environments.
Barclay Contracting
Barclay Contracting, a division of Barclay Engineering, provides skilled labour and site-based support for projects across Australia and internationally. From installation and commissioning to maintenance and shutdowns, our teams integrate seamlessly to deliver safe and efficient outcomes.
We also offer specialist equipment for hire, including our remotely operated 70-tonne crawler crane “Goliath”, along with EWPs and knuckle boom lifts to support complex lifting and installation works.
Our Dome Facility in Canning Vale—a 20m x 36m enclosed structure—is available for project collaboration, assembly, and commissioning, helping reduce logistics and improve efficiency. It is available for short- or long-term hire.
