Barclay Engineering was awarded the balustrade and handrails contract for Optus Stadium.
Our in-house team that worked on the project incorporated drafting, engineering and design, project management, quantity survey and fabrication is focused on delivering quality design and manufacture with a collaborative approach with head contractor Multiplex’s design and construction team.The project has presented new talents to our staff through the construction industry project tools including BIM (Building Information Modelling), Aconex Document Management and REVIT architectural design software.
With more than 30 types of Balustrades and Handrails with finishes ranging from steel, stainless steel and glass within the stadium making this one of the largest in-house Western Australia project undertaken by Barclay Engineering.
