Marine Exhaust Systems

Complete marine exhaust systems from the engine to the ship’s side are available and can be designed to suit each Client’s requirements. Wet type exhausts using the engine cooling discharge water to provide noise and temperature reduction are made from marine grade stainless steel alloys, they are lightweight and compact and provide excellent silencing performance.

Conventional reactive-type silencers are manufactured from mild steel and stainless steel alloys for use in dry systems for all sizes of vessel. Barclay Engineering also manufactures a range of water injector units.
