Acoustic Containers and Enclosures

The acoustic container/enclosures, which can either be a Modular or a Drop-over type, are used to contain the noise emitted by loud machinery, valves, industrial equipment and industrial processes so that the surrounding area is quiet.

The Modular system comprises of our acoustic performance panels to suit different applications and can be configured in almost any shape or size. The design feature of the panels allows for installation by the purchaser or by Barclay Engineering’s installation crew. The panels are constructed from PGI sheet on the outside and PGI perforated metal on the inside and insulated with non-combustible acoustic in-fill. Non corrosive materials and various paint finishes can also be offered.

The Drop-over (skid mounted) enclosures are built to suit the requirements of our customers which includes the mobile equipment market, covering diesel generators, air compressors, pumps etc. They completely enclose the equipment, and are designed to be tough, resilient and have high acoustic performance. These enclosures can be customised to include optional extras such as fuel tank, lifting facility, engine protection equipment, control rooms, fire systems and other peripheral equipment the application requires.
